TRAILS & PARKS

We have 3 miles of 8’ wide asphalt walking trails…the Lake Loop around Lake Vian, a mountain loop and a prairie loop that connects the lake and mountain loops to the softball complex. We have 12 miles of mountain bike trails, many with rock armoring, numerous features, bridges, jumps and an incredible roller coaster called Pontiac Power. There are picnic tables and park benches with signs depicting the species of trees with the name in both English and Cherokee. There’s an amphitheater, two softball  fields, a playground, parking lot, and an almost completed community building.

Legacy Park is planned to be developed with a community gathering place, community garden, and hoping to eventually add housing.
